New Beach Umbrella Rules for Myrtle Beach
After Labor Day the Beach Umbrella Rules for the beaches at Myrtle Beach, SC relax slightly. Beach umbrellas must be in line or behind the Lifeguard stands and canopies and tents are now allowed back on the beach. Canopies are not allowed during the summer peak months, but are now as long as they are BEHIND the Life Guard stands. Dogs are now allowed on the beach anytime whereas in the crowded summer months there were restricted hours pets were allowed on the beach.
